Mompreneurs: Rise Up!

I have noticed a recent trend. Moms are supporting other moms in their goals and endeavors. They are dreaming big and their businesses are successful. Mom owned companies and non-profits are on the rise.

Further, moms are joining online networks and support groups where they share wisdom and learn from each other. They are also joining groups to mingle with like minds at coffee shops and breweries. Together, they discover what works in business and what might not. Business cards are passed around and mental notes are made about organizations they may work with in the future.

Online businesses run by moms are trending as well. Whether moms are using Instagram or Facebook to create their brand, they are getting creative at promoting online.

Do you see where I am going with this?

With mom owned businesses on the rise, now is the time to cheer each other on and help each other succeed. How can we encourage the success of other moms? Hire moms to help you in your own company. For example, hire a friendly mom photographer to help promote your business. Hire your favorite mom web designer. You might also choose to promote your business on a mom blog network that will catch the eyes of other moms such as the one I write for, San Diego Moms Blog.

I for one, am glad that moms are not sitting around gossiping about other moms. I’m excited to see the trend of moms reaching towards their business goals and supporting each other in the process.

Do you have a business idea, but aren’t quite sure where to begin?

Why not hire a mom who has her own life coach practice to help you move forward? Hire a mom who knows social media to aid in your online presence. Whatever you do, don’t stay stuck. Now is the time to reach for your dreams. The Mom Tribe is ready and willing to help. Reach out. Ask questions. Let’s do this thing together!

Don’t you love a team effort?

Together, we learn. Together we grow. Together, we win!

  1. I am noticing it a lot more too! I love how we’re supporting each other instead of talking about each other! I wish I could find some more mom blogs or mompreneurs here in San Francisco, that would be really cool!

    1. Hi Krysten! Thanks for stopping by! I wonder if there is a meetup type group in your area? If not, you could start one! And I SO love all of the support women are giving to each other. Thanks for stopping by! Grateful 🙂

I absolutely love this! I have to admit, where most people complain about the “mommy wars” I just don’t see it. Sure, there are some fringe crazies. But mostly? I see women supporting women. And I LOVE IT.

Moms should always support each other whether in a choice to breastfeed or bottle-feed, work or stay home, etc. The same goes for your topic of business. Help someone or give someone a chance to help you. Great read.

As for creating a business- the ideas are limitless… even blogging can be a money making market! What do you like to do? What are your passions? Maybe you could turn it into a business 🙂 Would love to see your creativity fly!!! Thanks so much for stopping by and commenting 🙂

This is a really great post. I am all about supporting and encouraging fellow mompreneurs! In fact, that’s why I created my stock photo subscription service just for mom bloggers.
